v4.5 [Nov 8, 2011]
--An Object Manager is always present and provides quick access to computed results
and data displays.
--You can set up a list of several algorithms and subsets to be processed as a batch.
--Comprehensive window management is provided for flexible display of data and results.
--A ribbon (icon bar) permits access to frequently utilized functions/commands.
--Multitasking is used enabling such features as multiple spinning 3D plots.
--In the Open Data dialog, the wildcard filter (*.*) directs Pirouette to try all formats that
it knows. This may be helpful if the file type is not obvious from the file’s extension.
--You can manipulate multiple Preference sets via three Windows/Preferences menu
items: Create, Delete, and Load.
--Names for samples and variables can contain up to 48 characters.
--Drag and drop the disk icon in the Object Manager onto the work area to display a
new window containing a table view of the data set with all samples and variables included
and produce a new Set icon in the Object Manager tree.
--Copied graphics can be in Windows Metafile (EMF) as well as the bitmapped TIFF
format.
--Transforms include Baseline Correction, Divide by/Normalization, Multiplicative scatter
correction and Standard normal variate.
--It is possible to change the number of factors dynamically after a prediction for PCA,
PLS and PCR. All results linked to the number of factors are dynamically updated,
thus facilitating true external validation of these models.
--A Notes object containing a list of the run configuration settings is included with all
algorithm results. This object is fully editable by the user, thus serving as an audit
document.
--You can open or merge data files by dragging them from Windows Explorer and dropping
them onto the Pirouette window. Useful also from the Find/Search window.
Check how the prediction of the atomic model matches the experimental results.
Predict kinase-specific phosphorylation sites for 408 human PKs in hierarchy.
